Hehe well I had to look up the details myself too so I can't blame you. But you are Greek, so maybe I should... :PYou're right about movies though. It's impossible to get everything right, since there are just so many things we don't know, especially about the ancient world. shit i'm ashamed i confused marathon with plataea and i'm greek... anyway you're right it wasn't only the 300 i opened my last classe's history book. i dont believe in the movie i am not a fan of movies that represent historic events or characters/personalities coz they always make mistakes and leave things out (not only about my country's historty, about others too)

300 Spartans, and about 10000 other Greeks at Thermopylae, at 480 BC. The Battle of Marathon took place 10 years earlier, in 490 BC when the Persians invaded with ships.After Thermopylae the navy of Athens crushed the Persian fleet at Salamis, and a year later the Persian army was defeated at Plataea. So yeah, read more books, watch more Discovery Channel, and don't believe everything in 300 ^_^And about the Jewish conspiracy... Ah nevermind I'll not change your mind about that anyway.
